Meet the extraordinary ensemble of MEET ME AT THE OAK,
In 1955 Louisiana, tensions arise between a long-standing black family and their new white neighbors over an oak tree steeped in history on the black family's land. This tree, once a site of lynching in the 1800s, holds deep significance for the black family, who gather there every third Sunday to honor their ancestors.
Produced by New Horizon Theater and presented by Pittsburgh Public Theater. February 19 – March 1, 2026.
